2026 Harvest Season Has Arrived!
Our estate vineyard in Staunton was not exempt from the hard freeze in April, leaving the vines carrying a lighter load of grapes this September. But if there's one thing we know how to do at Twisted Pines, it's rethink the game plan — and keep playing.
Starting this summer, we've taken over management of a second vineyard in Standardsville (Monticello AVA), where the grapes are looking mighty fine. Add to that the grapes we're sourcing from several other local vineyards, and our 2026 harvest is shaping up to be a bit of a team effort.
With all the careful planning behind us, game time has arrived. We’re jumping into harvest this week and will be in full-on go mode throughout September. There will be grapes to pick, sort, press, ferment — and, if we’re being honest, probably a fair amount of coffee involved along the way.
So here’s to the 2026 harvest season — and making something delicious out of whatever the vineyards throw our way! We can’t wait to share the fruits of this season with you in 2027!
